The month of May marked three trips for me, so I have some restaurant reviewing to do! First up is my favorite from Las Vegas, Cleo. Usually, a busy small plates restaurant doesn’t have time for the likes of high-maintenance-low-sodium me, but at Cleo, I was pleasantly surprised.

I asked our server for some guidance on which plates to avoid and which can be modified to no/less salt. She was lovely and helpful, and it didn’t stop there — The chef came out of the kitchen to speak with me personally and make sure he understood my requests. With every table full including our table of 5 guests, his attention to detail was impressive.
All the small plates we shared were divine and I met a new love — lebaneh! Lebaneh is a Greek yogurt-based cheese spread with a wonderful lemon flavor. I’ll be trying this recipe soon!

It’s so lovely when someone shows that they actually care about your needs, even when they have a number of other people to take care of too. Little things like that make a restaurant great in my opinion!

Agreed! So few take the time, busy or not.
